Find and organize your projects

Use search, status, sorting, fields, and display choices to manage a growing project list.

Written by Geoff Mina

The Projects page helps you move from a small set of engagements to a larger portfolio without losing sight of progress, dates, pricing, or ownership.

Choose the projects you want to see

  • Use Active for work currently in progress.

  • Use Complete to find finished engagements.

  • Use All when you need both in one result set.

  • Search by project, client, or information stored in project custom fields.

  • Use Filter to narrow the list by any project custom field, including projects where a field is not set.

Custom-field filters can be combined. For checkbox fields, selecting multiple choices includes a project when it matches any selected choice in that field.

Choose card or table view

Card view emphasizes the overall shape of each engagement. Table view aligns the most important fields across projects, which is useful when comparing progress, timelines, fees, or owners.

Table view makes project comparisons predictable while preserving client avatars and progress indicators.

Adjust the presentation

  • Use the sort control to order projects by the field most useful for the current decision.

  • Use Fields to add or remove optional information from the list.

  • Select a column heading when that column supports direct sorting.

  • Open the row menu for project-specific actions without first opening the workspace.

Your project list choices are designed to persist, so temporarily opening a client or project does not require rebuilding the view when you return.
