Recurring schedules create repeating invoices, expenses, and income while keeping every schedule's health and history in one place.
Choose the schedule type
Recurring invoice builds a new invoice for a client on a schedule.
Recurring expense records predictable spending, including its tax rate and whether tax is included in the entered amount.
Recurring income records predictable income received outside the invoice workflow.
Monitor schedule health
The overview highlights active schedules, the next queued run, paused schedules, and anything needing attention. The table explains each schedule's context, amount, frequency, next run, and status.
The default order puts schedules needing attention first, followed by running and active schedules in next-run order. Paused and completed schedules remain available below them, and any schedule without a next run sorts last within its state.
Use this page as the operating center for all repeating money activity, not only recurring invoices.
Keep recurring expense tax consistent
When you create or edit a recurring expense, enter its amount, currency, and tax rate. Turn on Included when the entered amount already contains tax; leave it off when tax should be added to the amount. New expenses created by the schedule inherit these values.
Pause or resume without deleting
Open an active schedule and select Pause when it should stop creating new records temporarily. Resume it when the work continues. Pausing preserves the schedule, configuration, and history.
Review execution history
Select History from a schedule to see earlier text history alongside structured execution events as they become available. Review what Moxie created, when it ran, and whether an execution needs attention.
Know when to use a payment plan instead
A recurring schedule repeats according to time. A payment plan follows an ordered commercial schedule where earlier steps can control later ones. Use the model that matches the client's agreement rather than treating every repeated invoice as the same workflow.
