Understand your Moxie Home

Use Home to see what needs attention, what is coming up, and how your business is doing.

Written by Geoff Mina

Home gives you a focused starting point for the day: what needs attention, what is coming up, and how the business is doing.

Start with the signals that matter

The top of Home summarizes your cash position and highlights useful next steps. The rest of the page brings together today's focus, schedule, and recent client activity so you can decide where to work without checking every module.

Needs attention collects exceptions you can act on now, including overdue invoices, unbilled work, past-due tasks, open tickets requiring attention, failed payment plans, and failed recurring schedules. Home starts with a compact four-item preview; select + more to expand the list in place without leaving the dashboard. Use its Category filter to focus on Money, Work, Inbox, or Automations; Moxie remembers that choice for your workspace. When there is nothing requiring attention, Moxie removes this section entirely instead of showing an empty card.

Plan the day across three kinds of work

Daily Focus is your personal action plan. It uses the same ranked priorities as the optional morning digest, organized into three balanced lanes:

  • Respond shows client replies and time-sensitive tickets assigned to you.

  • Deliver shows your assigned tasks and project deadlines.

  • Grow shows the next dated action or expected close date for opportunities you own.

Each lane starts with its highest-priority records. When more work remains, select + more to expand that lane directly on Home, then select Show fewer when you are finished. In a one-person workspace, Moxie treats unassigned work as the owner's responsibility. In a team workspace, assignment and feature access determine what each person sees.

The Respond, Deliver, and Grow Daily Focus lanes on Moxie Home

Daily Focus balances client responses, delivery commitments, and sales follow-ups without exposing record details in the overview.

Choose the right level of detail

  • Overview is the best place to orient yourself and act on current work.

  • Insights helps you explore patterns and changes across the business.

  • Business summary provides a generated narrative you can review and discuss with Moxie Assistant when that feature is available to your workspace.

Use Home as a launch point

Cards and records on Home are links, not just statistics. Open a focus item to work on the exact ticket, task, project, or opportunity, then return to Home when you want the wider view again.
