Home gives you a focused starting point for the day: what needs attention, what is coming up, and how the business is doing.
Start with the signals that matter
The top of Home summarizes your cash position and highlights useful next steps. The rest of the page brings together today's focus, schedule, and recent client activity so you can decide where to work without checking every module.
Understand Needs attention
Needs attention is an exception feed, not a complete list of every open record. It highlights work that is late, failed, unassigned, unread, or ready for a financial action today. Home starts with a compact four-item preview; select + more to expand the list in place. Use the Category filter to focus on Money, Work, Inbox, or Automations. Moxie remembers that choice for your workspace.
Needs attention can include:
Sent invoices with a remaining balance after their due date.
Older unbilled hourly work from a previous calendar month when it is not covered by a healthy recurring invoice.
Meaningful unbilled project work—normally at least 100 in your workspace currency—when a fixed-fee or milestone project is complete or due, or a per-item deliverable is complete.
Tasks past their due date.
Open tickets that are overdue, unread, or do not have an owner.
Payment plans in an error state and recurring schedules that failed to run.
Needs attention intentionally does not include:
Hourly work from the current calendar month.
Hours that a healthy upcoming recurring invoice is configured to collect.
Fixed-fee, milestone, or per-item work that is still in progress and not due.
Fixed-fee work that has already been invoiced for the full project amount or more.
Future invoices and tasks, healthy payment plans or schedules, and closed, archived, or currently snoozed tickets.
Categories you cannot access, or an item you dismissed with its × action.
Each item explains why it is present. Unbilled hourly work shows the dates involved so you can distinguish older work from the current billing period. When nothing meets these exception rules, Moxie removes the section instead of showing an empty card.
For a complete view of billable hourly work—including current-month time and hours reserved for recurring invoices—open Work → Time and select Invoice unbilled.
Plan the day across three kinds of work
Daily Focus is your personal action plan. It uses the same ranked priorities as the optional morning digest, organized into three balanced lanes:
Respond shows client replies and time-sensitive tickets assigned to you.
Deliver shows your assigned tasks and project deadlines.
Grow shows the next dated action or expected close date for opportunities you own.
Each lane starts with its highest-priority records. When more work remains, select + more to expand that lane directly on Home, then select Show fewer when you are finished. In a one-person workspace, Moxie treats unassigned work as the owner's responsibility. In a team workspace, assignment and feature access determine what each person sees.
Daily Focus balances client responses, delivery commitments, and sales follow-ups without exposing record details in the overview.
Choose the right level of detail
Overview is the best place to orient yourself and act on current work.
Insights helps you explore patterns and changes across the business.
Business summary provides a generated narrative you can review and discuss with Moxie Assistant when that feature is available to your workspace.
Use Home as a launch point
Cards and records on Home are links, not just statistics. Open a focus item to work on the exact ticket, task, project, or opportunity, then return to Home when you want the wider view again. When you complete an action in a modal or another page, Home refreshes the affected widgets as you return so resolved items and updated totals do not require a manual page reload.
