Business details define the identity, locale, and contact information Moxie uses across invoices, agreements, templates, and other client-facing work.
Complete your brand identity
Upload a clear workspace logo and enter your legal business name, country, entity type, and applicable tax information. A transparent PNG, JPG, or WebP logo works best across documents and themes.
Business details are shared defaults, so one update can improve several client-facing workflows.
Enable Peppol e-invoicing
Turn on Enable Peppol only when your business uses the Peppol network. Enter the endpoint scheme and endpoint ID assigned to your business, plus its legal-registration scheme and ID. Keep the VAT identifier in Tax ID; these identifiers can use different values and formats.
After Peppol is enabled for the workspace, each client can be configured independently from the new-client or client-edit form.
Set locale and contact details
Currency supplies the workspace default for money and new records.
Timezone anchors dates, schedules, reminders, and time-sensitive automation.
Address, phone, email, and website give document templates the information they need to render a complete business identity.
Under Contact information, enter an optional Business email and save your changes. This is the address to display on invoices; it does not change your sign-in email or outgoing email settings. Leave the field empty to remove it.
New default invoice templates include the business email. For an existing custom template, insert Business email from the account tokens ({{Account.Email}}). Invoices use their saved business details, so changing the workspace email does not rewrite existing invoice snapshots.
Understand the impact
Changing business details updates workspace-level information used going forward. Documents that store a snapshot of a template or business value may preserve the version that was applied when the record was created. Review an invoice and agreement preview after a substantial branding change.
Access: Workspace identity is owner-only. If the page is unavailable, ask the workspace owner to make the change.
Create a workspace Brand Kit
Open Settings → Brand kits to save visual guidelines shared with your workspace. Owners, full-access members, and implementers can manage kits.
Select New kit, then choose Professional, Studio, Casual, or Minimal, then give the kit a recognizable name in the editor header. Each starting personality includes its own typography, spacing, colors, and control styling.
In Logos & identity, add your primary logo and an optional alternate logo for dark backgrounds.
Set your light palette in Colors. Keep Automatic dark mode for a coordinated, contrast-aware dark palette, or choose Custom to set each dark color yourself. Choose heading and body fonts in Typography; uploaded workspace fonts and the built-in Google font choices are available together.
Adjust Fields, Choices, and Buttons independently. Open a section’s Customize controls for exact values.
Inspect the live previews at desktop and mobile widths, then select Save draft.
Refine fields, choices, and buttons
Hover over the Customize section headings and relevant labels or links for guidance in tooltips.
Choices shows settings for the selected style and layout. Cards offer corner controls; lists hide padding and selected background controls. Inline and two-column layouts offer horizontal spacing as well as row spacing. Hidden values are kept when you switch styles.
Fields: choose outlined, filled, or underline styling; adjust field size, corners, borders, padding, fill opacity, placeholder color, shadow, and textarea height.
Choices: use a list, cards, or pills with vertical, wrapped, or two-column layout. Set the option gap, marker size and spacing, card padding, and selected colors. Columns stack on narrow screens.
Buttons: choose filled, outlined, or text styling and fill, text, and border colors separately for primary and secondary buttons. Corner radius, padding, border width, button width, and alignment remain shared.
Spacing: under Fields, open Spacing & layout for label, help text, section, and container spacing. Compact, Comfortable, and Spacious presets provide coordinated starting values.
States: under Fields, open Focus, error & disabled states to adjust focus rings and borders, error colors, hover colors, and disabled appearance.
In Typography, open Customize text roles to adjust labels, help text, answers, and shared button fonts. Set button text colors in the Primary button and Secondary button groups. Values marked Inherited follow the kit’s typography or palette until you customize them. Use Reset to restore that relationship, or reset a complete styling section to its defaults.
Presets are starting points for new kits. Use the back arrow in the preset chooser to return to the Brand kits list. Existing kits are customized through their individual settings.
Publish and restore versions
Save draft keeps your edits in the workspace without changing the published design. Select Publish, or Save & publish when you have unsaved edits, to create a numbered publication.
Open the kit’s actions menu and select Published versions. Select a version to preview its fields, scheduler, agreement, or invoice appearance. The newest publication is marked Current.
To revert the design, select an earlier version and choose Restore & publish. Confirm that you want to replace the current design, including unpublished changes. This creates a new publication and keeps all earlier versions. The kit’s current name stays unchanged.
Deleting a kit moves it to Trash. Published versions remain preserved, including after permanent deletion. If a publication could not be confirmed, check the version history before retrying.
Check the result before saving
The Fields preview includes text, dropdown, date, upload, choice, and button examples. Use Preview state to inspect Normal, Focus, Error, Disabled, and Hover appearances. Click a sample label, field, choice, or button to open the corresponding styling section. Sample input is not saved or submitted.
Compare the Fields, Scheduler, Agreement, and Invoice tabs to see relevant styles in context. Switch the preview between light and dark mode, then check long labels and the color-contrast guidance as well as the overall appearance. On desktop, scroll the settings and preview independently while the save actions and preview controls stay visible. On a narrow screen, switch between Design and Preview; your edits stay in place.
Select a kit from the Brand kits list to open its editor. Search the list by name. Use the back arrow in the editor header to return to the list. Edit the kit name directly in that header. The actions menu lets you duplicate a kit, reload its saved version, or move a kit to Trash after confirmation. Restore it from Settings → Trash if needed. If another member changes a kit while you are editing, your draft stays intact: duplicate it to preserve your work, or reload the latest saved version.
Where kits apply: Assign published kits to scheduling links, reusable forms, client form requests, invoice templates, and agreement templates or drafts. These use the latest published version while being prepared or loaded. Invoices capture their design when created, and agreements capture it when finalized; publishing a newer kit does not automatically restyle those documents. An editable invoice can receive a newer design when you explicitly refresh or reselect its template. The default published Brand Kit also supplies the client portal's colors, typography, and logos. Brand Kits do not change legal business details or payment settings.
