Experimental Feature Notice

Conversational Configuration is an experimental feature within Moxie Assistant. We are rapidly iterating, improving, and gathering feedback to enhance its functionality. Your experience and feedback are crucial in helping us refine and expand this feature to better meet your needs.

Overview of Conversational Configuration

Conversational Configuration leverages advanced AI technology to help you create complex items with ease. By providing the AI Assistant with sufficient information about what you want to create, you can quickly generate invoices, forms, and projects without the need for manual setup. This feature currently supports creating invoices, forms, and projects.

Key Features

Creating Invoices

Generate invoices quickly and effortlessly by providing the necessary details to the AI Assistant.

  • Start a Conversation: Navigate to the Invoices section within Moxie and choose the "Quick Invoice Assistant" option.

  • Provide Details: Tell the AI Assistant the key information needed for the invoice, such as the due date and the items to be invoiced, including quantity and rate. For example:

  • “Create an invoice with a due date of July 30th for 10 hours of consulting at $150 per hour.”

  • Add Context: Continue providing context until the assistant has all the details needed to generate a complete invoice.

Creating Forms

Simplify form creation by describing the form you need.

  • Start a Conversation: Choose the "Form Builder Assistant" option from within the Workspace settings --> Form builder section of Moxie.

  • Describe the Form: Provide the AI Assistant with the necessary details, such as the type of data to capture and any fields with options. You can specify the specific options or ask the assistant to fill in the blanks. For example:

  • “Create a feedback form for our recent event with fields for name, email, rating (options: excellent, good, fair, poor), and comments.”

  • Complete the Form: The AI Assistant will create the form with the specified fields and layout.

Creating Projects

Set up projects efficiently by conveying the essential details to the AI Assistant.

  • Start a Conversation:Choose the "Project Assistant" option when creating a new project in Moxie.

  • Outline the Project: Share the main aspects of the project, including the project name, start date, due date, tasks, subtasks, and relative due dates for the tasks. For example:

    • “Create a new project called ‘Website Redesign’ starting on August 1st and due by September 30th, with tasks for planning, design, development, and launch.”

  • Common Tasks: You can also ask the Assistant to add common tasks for the overall project, simplifying the process. For example:

    • “Add common tasks for a website redesign project.”

  • Complete the Project Setup: The AI Assistant will establish the project framework based on your input.

How to Use Conversational Configuration

Providing Sufficient Information

Effective use of Conversational Configuration requires clear and comprehensive instructions. Here are some tips to ensure you provide enough information:

  • Be Specific: Clearly state what you need, including all relevant details. For example, instead of saying, “Create an invoice,” specify, “Create an invoice for Jane Smith for graphic design services, amounting to $2000, due on August 15th.”

  • Include Key Details: Mention all necessary elements, such as names, dates, amounts, and any other pertinent information.

  • Follow-Up Questions: If the AI Assistant needs more information, it will ask follow-up questions to gather the details required.

Tips for Effective Use

  • Prepare Your Information: Before starting a conversation, have all necessary details ready to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

  • Be Clear and Concise: Provide clear and concise instructions to avoid any misunderstandings or errors.

  • Review and Adjust: After the AI Assistant creates the item, review it to ensure all details are correct and make any necessary adjustments.
