Use the client workspace

Navigate client details, contacts, notes, activity, related records, and contextual creation.

Written by Geoff Mina

The client workspace brings the most useful relationship context together without turning every related module into another tab.

Open Clients in Moxie and select a client to enter its workspace.

The workspace prioritizes reusable client context, private notes, meaningful activity, and connected records.

Review the relationship

  • Client details shows contact, address, lead-source, and important billing information.

  • Contacts shows the people associated with the client and their enabled responsibilities.

  • Additional details contains populated custom fields and can be collapsed when you do not need them.

  • Notes keeps private working context prominent.

  • Recent activity shows meaningful changes across connected work.

  • Client trends charts payments received and time worked by month so you can see the relationship's direction without opening separate reports.

  • Related records gives counts, totals, and client-filtered access to other modules.

Track payment and time trends

Client trends shows lifetime totals above the latest 12 monthly buckets. Use the payment trend to see when money was received and the time trend to understand how the relationship's workload is changing.

Payment and time trends keep operational context in the client workspace without adding report columns to the client list.

Start work in client context

Use New to create the most common client-specific records: a contact, project, invoice, agreement, form request, or ticket when ticketing is available. Moxie carries the client context into the creation flow.

Use the header shortcuts

Favorite the client, edit its details, or use available email, calling, messaging, and booking actions. Calling and messaging appear only when your workspace has an active Communicator subscription and a usable phone number.

Download an account statement

If you can view invoices or accounting, select the Account statement shortcut in the client header. Choose All time, this or last month, quarter, or year, or enter a custom date range, then download the Excel workbook.

The statement shows invoice and payment activity, opening and running balances, open invoices, and the client's deposit balance as of the ending date. Invoice references are links to their online invoice pages, which makes the workbook useful while reviewing an account with the client.

Download account statement dialog with standard period choices and a statement date range

Choose the period before Moxie builds the client-specific accounting statement.
