Add and manage client contacts

Maintain the people connected to a client and identify their relationship responsibilities.

Written by Geoff Mina

Contacts identify the individual people involved in a client relationship and the responsibilities each person has.

Add a contact

  1. Open a new contact in Moxie, use the global + menu, or select the add-contact control in a client workspace.

  2. Add the person’s name, email address, phone number, role, and client.

  3. Choose the relationship responsibilities that apply.

  4. Save the contact.

Understand contact responsibilities

  • Primary contact identifies the main person for the relationship.

  • Invoice contact identifies a person who should receive invoice communication.

  • Portal access allows the person to use the client portal when the portal is configured.

Find contacts across the workspace

The Contacts list can show active, archived, or all contacts. Combine that lifecycle view with All, With client, or No client, then use search, filters, visible fields, and sortable columns to find the right person.

Archive or restore a contact

Open the contact’s … menu from its record, editor, or Contacts list and choose Archive. Archiving hides the contact from the default Active view without deleting it or archiving its client. Use the Archived view and choose Unarchive to restore the contact.
