Project templates turn a repeatable delivery process into a reusable starting point. A template can carry the project type, portal settings, pricing, description, tasks, relative task dates, subtasks, to-dos, assignments, and files into a new project.
Create a template
Open Settings → Templates → Projects.
Select New template and give it a recognizable outcome-based name.
On Overview, choose the project type, description, client portal behavior, and fee schedule.
On Tasks, add the work the template should create.
Save the template.
Each task date is measured from the future project’s start date, making one template reusable across different calendars.
Build a useful task plan
Drag tasks to establish their order. Each task can include an initial status, assignment, priority, relative due date, description, to-dos, files, and repetition settings. The template summary shows the total task count and the final relative due date.
The template list makes its project type, size, timeline, and pricing visible before you use it.
Use the template
Start a new project and select Start from a template. Choose the template, client, and project start date. Moxie creates the project and calculates task dates from that start date. You can also save an existing project as a template or import template tasks into an existing project when those actions are available.
