Navigate and filter your calendar

Choose the right time view and focus the calendar by type, client, owner, or connected calendar.

Written by Geoff Mina

Move between broad planning and detailed scheduling without losing your place. Moxie remembers your preferred view and filters for this workspace.

Choose a calendar view

  • Month is best for deadlines, travel, and the shape of a busy month.

  • Two weeks balances near-term planning with enough room to see event detail.

  • Week uses a time grid for daily capacity and automatically expands its all-day area to show every project, task, and event above it.

  • Day gives the most precise view of one day's schedule.

  • Agenda lists a month's events in date order for fast scanning.

Use the previous, Today, and next controls to move through time. Selecting a date in Month or Two weeks opens that date in Day view.

Read projects and tasks at a glance

Calendar preserves the visual planning information attached to your work. Projects use their configured calendar color. Tasks use a quieter surface with the client's initials at the beginning and the task status color at the end, so a task remains distinct from its parent project without requiring a hover.

Connected calendars retain their provider colors when available. Every item also includes a client or source marker so color is never the only way to identify it.

Week keeps the complete all-day plan visible above the hourly schedule. Use calendar filters when you want to narrow the view.

Find the events that matter

  1. Use Search calendar to match event names and supporting details.

  2. Open Filter.

  3. Narrow the calendar by Type, Client, Owner, or Connected calendar.

  4. Review the result count to confirm how much of the visible period remains in scope. Select the refresh icon beside the count whenever you want to fetch the latest calendar data; returning to the browser tab does not refresh it automatically.

  5. Clear one filter or all filters when you want the complete schedule again.

Filters help separate external events, client work, appointments, and other sources without changing the underlying records.

Control task dates

Open Configure calendar, then choose how tasks appear under Task dates: as a continuous Start to due range, on the Start date only, or on the Due date only. Moxie remembers this choice for the workspace. If a task has only one of those dates, it appears on the date that is available.
