Create a scheduling link

Define a meeting's duration, owner, description, location, and public booking status.

Written by Geoff Mina

Create a scheduling link when you want clients or prospects to choose an available time without the back-and-forth of coordinating manually.

Before you begin

Connect at least one calendar so Moxie can avoid conflicts and place confirmed bookings on the correct calendar. Connect Google, Microsoft, Apple/iCloud, or CalDAV from Settings → Apps & integrations.

Create the link

  1. Select New scheduling link.

  2. Give the link a client-friendly name. Moxie derives the public link from this name.

  3. Choose a meeting length or set a custom duration.

  4. Add a short description so invitees know what the meeting covers.

  5. Choose the owner and any additional attendees.

  6. Optionally connect bookings to a pipeline stage or show the link in the client portal.

  7. Add at least one location, such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, phone, in person, or custom instructions.

The Details tab defines what is being booked, who owns it, and where it happens.

Understand saving and activation

Scheduling links save automatically after valid changes. If overlapping availability, an incomplete reminder, or another invalid setting blocks saving, the header explains what you need to fix. Keep Active on when the public link should accept bookings; turn it off to pause new bookings without deleting the configuration.
