Brand your client portal

Customize portal fonts, colors, logos, background images, themes, and welcome language.

Written by Geoff Mina

Apply your fonts, colors, logos, background, and welcome language so the portal feels like a natural extension of your business.

Customize the portal

  1. Go to Settings → Client portal → Appearance.

  2. If the workspace has a default Brand Kit, its published colors, typography, and light- and dark-mode logos are used automatically. Select Manage Brand Kit to change them.

  3. Choose whether the portal follows the client's device theme or always uses light or dark mode. The Brand Kit can generate its dark palette automatically or use your custom dark colors.

  4. With a default Brand Kit, its square logo supplies the browser favicon and collapsed-navigation logo; the separate favicon control is hidden. Workspaces without a default Brand Kit can continue using their existing portal fonts, colors, logos, and favicon.

  5. Choose the login-card position and upload, select, or search for a background image.

  6. Edit the login greeting and signed-in welcome message.

  7. Review both preview themes, then select Save changes.

Moxie Client portal appearance editor with brand controls and a login preview

The preview updates alongside your settings so you can judge the full composition before saving.

Choose assets that work well

For the complete guide to default branding, publishing, typography, buttons, fields, and corner radii, see Build and apply your brand across Moxie with Brand Kits.

  • Use transparent PNG or SVG logos with breathing room around the artwork.

  • Check contrast in both light and dark mode.

  • Choose a background that leaves the login card easy to read.

  • Keep the welcome message short enough to scan on mobile.

Preview the exact portal

The built-in preview is directional. After saving, select Open portal and inspect the real login page at your active domain, including a mobile-sized browser window.
