Choose the sections clients see by default and preview how those choices shape the portal navigation.
Set the workspace defaults
Go to Settings → Client portal → Features & navigation.
Enable the areas that belong in the standard client experience.
Review the navigation preview as you make changes.
Choose whether new contacts should receive portal access automatically.
Select Save changes.
The preview shows the navigation structure created by the enabled workspace features.
Understand the available features
The portal can include projects, invoices, financial summaries, agreements, time worked, appointments, requests, forms, and files. Only enable sections that support the way you work with clients.
Defaults do not override exceptions
Clients that use customized feature access keep their overrides when workspace defaults change. Use Clients → Portal access to review or remove those exceptions.
Navigation is not the same as visibility
A navigation item makes a section available; it does not publish every record in that section. For example, the Projects feature can be enabled while an individual project remains Not visible.
