Set app preferences
Choose light, dark, or automatic appearance; set the first day of the week; and decide whether client logos appear in lists. Appearance applies to the current device, while workspace defaults affect shared records.
The tabs separate device behavior from client, invoice, agreement, and font defaults.
Review each workspace default
Clients controls defaults such as hourly rate, payment terms, fees, and portal access for newly created clients.
Invoices controls reminders, processing fees, locale and page formatting, numbering, tax behavior, payment instructions, and default email templates.
Agreements controls shared signing behavior such as geolocation requirements.
Custom fonts makes approved brand fonts available to supported agreements, forms, and portal experiences.
Invoice defaults prevent repeated setup and make automated sends more predictable.
Important: Defaults usually apply when a new client or document is created. Changing a preference does not necessarily rewrite existing records.
