How can I put my current proposal, contract, or quote into Moxie?
If you already have a quote, proposal, or contract that you use, you can copy the text of that document and paste it into a text block in Moxie. Opt to add signatures or Moxie's legal contract terms. This will save your quote, proposal, or contract with your client files in Moxie.
If you already have a fully executed and signed contract, you can upload a PDF as an attachment in your client file so you don't have to hunt through emails to find it again.
βHow do proposals, contracts, and quotes work with the rest of Moxie?
When you create a proposal with projects or tasks and their associated fees and/or payment terms, Moxie can automatically create projects and tasks based on your proposal once it becomes a fully executed contract. If you have a deposit invoice associated with your payment terms, Moxie will also create a deposit invoice based on the terms. To send the deposit invoice, you just need to click it in invoices to approve it.

You can include a deposit payment in your agreement as well.
Can I turn a quote into an invoice?
To turn a quote into an invoice, simply enable the appropriate automations on the fee schedule block. You can decide how much of the quote you want to collect immediately based on the percentages you enter. When the quote is accepted, the corresponding projects and invoices will be automatically generated.
Pro tip: If you have integrated payments enabled, you can add a Payment block directly to your quote to capture payment at the time of acceptance.

Can I turn my agreement into a project or invoice?
You can customize what happens after your agreement is signed. In your agreement, add a project block by clicking + insert block anywhere on the agreement that you want to place the block. Choose "Add fee structure & deliverables." When you click to set-up the fees for this project, you'll see options to create a project and/or a deposit invoice. You can also choose to require payment before you begin work.
You can require a deposit invoice that is a percentage of the total for the project or a fixed amount.
