Manage agreements and reusable templates

Find agreement records and create reusable document structures for future clients.

Written by Geoff Mina

The Agreements list is the record of client-specific documents. Agreement templates live in Settings and provide reusable content for creating those records faster.

Find an agreement

Search by agreement or client, choose a created-date range, and filter by status or client. Sort the table by its supported columns to review drafts, active documents, and completed agreements.

The list defaults to the past 12 months; choose All time when you need older records.

Use agreement actions

Open the row menu to duplicate an agreement, save its structure as a template, or delete it. Saving as a template removes the client and client signers, keeps your own signers and signatures, and clears activation and expiration dates.

Build a reusable template

In Settings → Templates → Agreements, create a template from scratch, start with a proposal, or use the template library. Build pages, packages, payment schedules, terms, design, and your own signer configuration once.

A template has no client. Creating an agreement from it copies the document into an independent client record.

Know what remains independent

Changes to a template affect future agreements, not client agreements already created from it. Edit a concrete agreement when the change belongs only to that client.

Older V1 agreements

The current builder cannot edit V1 agreements. Moxie identifies those records and directs you to the classic app for management; new agreements use the current format.
