Turn on slide formatting when a long agreement should feel like a guided presentation. Clients see one page at a time, move through it with Previous and Next, and watch a progress bar fill as they go.
Before you begin
Slide formatting works on agreement templates and on individual client agreements. Agreements created from a template keep its setting.
Split the document into pages first. Each page becomes one slide; an agreement with a single page shows no page controls.
Turn on slide formatting
Open the agreement or template and select Pages in the panel beside the document.
Turn on Slide formatting. The switch reads Page scrolling while it's off.
Optionally, change the Previous and Next button text, such as Back and Continue. Leave them blank to use Previous and Next.
Give pages titles, such as Scope or Investment. Titles are optional; they label the page in the builder and in the page list clients can use to jump between pages.
Drag pages to reorder them, or use the page controls to duplicate or delete a page.
Slide formatting and its button text sit at the top of the Pages panel, above the page list.
What clients see
The signing page shows one page at a time with a progress bar across the top and a bar at the bottom showing the page title and count, such as Scope (2 / 6). Next moves forward, Previous moves back, and the last page shows your Finish button in place of Next. On wider screens, clients can also jump to a titled page from the page list.
The bottom bar stays in place, so the buttons don't move as clients change pages.
Everything on every page still counts. When a client selects Finish while something earlier is incomplete, such as a required form answer or signature, Moxie takes them back to that page and highlights what needs attention.
After the agreement is fully executed, the bottom bar shows a download button for a PDF copy. Downloaded and printed copies always include every page, one after another, without the page controls.
Preview before sharing
Select Preview in the builder toolbar to step through the pages exactly as your client will, including on the 375px mobile width. Slide formatting also applies to agreements shared through a public link and to agreements embedded on your website.
