Create, finalize, and share an agreement

Build a client agreement, add signers, review its behavior, and deliver it for signature.

Written by Geoff Mina

Create an agreement when the client needs to review scope, packages, payment terms, signatures, or other formal decisions. Moxie keeps the document editable as a draft until you finalize and share it.

Choose a starting point

  1. Select New agreement.

  2. Choose the client.

  3. Start blank, use the built-in proposal, contract, or quote structure, or choose one of your reusable agreement templates.

  4. Select Create agreement.

Build the document

Add and reorder pages and blocks to create the client experience. Agreements can include rich text, client and business details, packages, payment schedules, online payment, scheduling, forms, files, dividers, and signature areas. Use the Design and Settings panels to control presentation and behavior.

Add the correct signers

Select Add signers and add at least one required client signer before sharing. Add someone from your business only when the agreement should be countersigned.

Finalize, then share

Review packages, totals, payment timing, tokens, legal text, scheduler, and signers before selecting Finalize. Then use Share to deliver the agreement through the supported email flow or copy its online link when appropriate.

Finalization changes the agreement from a working draft into the version the client reviews. Avoid making that transition until the document is ready.

Connect the sale

Use Link opportunity when the agreement belongs to an active deal. This preserves the relationship between the proposal and the commercial process.
