Accounting integrations reduce duplicate entry by bringing bank transactions into expenses or syncing operational records with QuickBooks Online.
Plaid and QuickBooks solve different problems: connect a bank for expense imports, or connect an accounting ledger for record synchronization.
Import bank transactions with Plaid
Connect a business bank account through Plaid to import expense transactions. Plaid's secure connection flow opens outside Moxie. After an account is linked, you can reconnect it when its authorization needs attention or remove it when it should no longer contribute transactions.
Trial workspaces must convert to a paid plan before linking a bank.
Starter workspaces can link one bank account; higher plans can connect additional accounts.
Removing a bank disconnects the institution and removes its linked transactions, so review the confirmation carefully.
Sync with QuickBooks Online
QuickBooks Online can synchronize clients, invoices, payments, and expenses. It is available on Pro and Teams plans. After connecting, choose whether invoice numbers need to remain unique across both Moxie and QuickBooks, then map the appropriate income, payment-processing expense, undeposited funds, and tax accounts.
Save and maintain the connection
Use Save QuickBooks settings after changing mappings. Reset refreshes the connected configuration; Disconnect ends the integration. Treat account mappings as financial configuration and confirm them with the person responsible for your books.
About Xero
New Xero connections are no longer offered. Workspaces with a grandfathered Xero connection can continue managing it from the accounting integration area.
